Jodi Cardone is the Director of Real Estate Leasing for the University and is responsible for all leases of commercial property from administrative and office spaces, to laboratories and classrooms.
Cardone has been a member of the Real Estate Office since 2019. She has enhanced the organization and efficiency for lease administration, creating stream-lined workstreams for lease documents, payments, and the leasing database. Her years of expertise in commercial leasing, property management and market analysis provide a valuable asset towards negotiating leases, mitigating risks, and reducing property disputes.
Prior to joining Pitt, Cardone worked in commercial and corporate real estate for companies including UPMC and GNC.
In addition to her role as director, Cardone sits on the Condo Executive Board for The Assembly, the University of Pittsburgh's Space Management Advisory Committee, and is an active contributor of the non-profit Dress for Success.
Cardone earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Robert Morris University. She holds a Real Estate Property Management Certificate from Cornell University and has completed the University of Pittsburgh’s Emerging Leaders Program.
